As a member of MTM's bioinformatics team, Bethany supports clinical programmes by developing computational methods to decipher immune responses from clinical data. Bethany holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Leeds in collaboration with St James’s University Hospital. She gained extensive experience designing and implementing both experimental and computational methods for TCR repertoire characterisation of rare haematological diseases. Prior to joining MTM, Bethany was working in the gene therapy industry as a senior bioinformatician. She lead analysis projects across R&D, pre-clinical and clinical programmes in research areas including gene therapy construct design, gene editing and in-silico immunogenicity screenings.
